  1. Why do I receive an error referring to a missing libpython library ?

    This is mostly likely due to an improper or nonexistent python2.4 library. To solve this problem we recommed using the 'port' command from the terminal. Open a terminal and type: 

    sudo port install python24

    If, however, 'port' is not installed, please download the latest version from MacPorts and follow the instructions. One pitfall users have encountered is that the 'port' command does not execute properly after installing from MacPorts. If this is the case, please install the Xcode software which can be found on the the first of the OSX installation DVDs.
